President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin confirmed that he asked the militias fighting in east Ukraine to open humanitarian corridors for the Kiev troops, as he fielded questions at the Seleger youth forum, Friday.
The prime minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Aleksandr Zakharchenko has responded to Putin's request, stating that the Ukrainian forces will be allowed safe passage, so long as they give up their heavy arms.
