      Ukraine: Rally outside Rada demands full lustration

      A large group of protesters gathered outside Ukraine's parliament building in Kiev on Thursday.

      They beat drums and disrupted traffic in the surrounding streets, demanding the 'lustration' of the chamber to remove deputies loyal to the former government. Protesters held placards with slogans such as "Give Ukrainians European Rights" and "Full lustration or castration".

      Most of the activists also held aloft the Ukraine's national flag, as well as those of the Svoboda and Democratic Alliance parties.
