
Russia: Shelling from Ukraine hits Russian soil
An artillery shell exploded into the backyard of a house not far from the Russian-Ukraine border in the Russian village of Kuibyshevo on Monday evening, at around 23.40 local time (20.40 GMT) . The large explosion and blast which the house's windows and broke a fence, leaving the exterior severely damaged.
The house owner Ekaterina, her daughter and grandson were all at home during the shelling, but none of them were injured.
Russia's Investigative Committee (Sledkom) are examining the scene following the incident.
