
Russia: Humanitarian aid convoy deployed to East Ukraine *POOL*
A column of 280 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to East Ukraine passed through the city of Tula on Tuesday. In cooperation with Kiev and the Red Cross, desperately needed food, medical supplies, baby food, and generators will be sent to some of the areas worst affected by the country's ongoing crisis.
On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that an agreement concerning the humanitarian aid convoy leaving to Ukraine had been reached between all involved parties.
