Russia: Western sanctions "will attain nothing," says prominent turkey producer
Evrodon Production Manager Igor Cherepenin said that Western sanctions imposed on Russia by the west will not affect his business during an interview given in the Rostov region, Monday.
Arguing the company is a "self-sufficient entity," he did however warn that while sanctions will not achieve their desired target in the turkey industry, it may affect those working in pork or beef production.
Evrodon produces 42,000 tonnes of turkey per year and is planning on upping production to around 130,000 tonnes in the near future.
