Yezidi refugees from Sinjar were crossing the Iraqi-Syrian border on Wednesday, with the assistance of Kurdish forces. Thousands of people have fled Sinjar following an attempt by fighters from ISIS to take over the city. Yezidi people are targeted by ISIS fighters due to their unique religious beliefs.
