      Russia: One-armed fighter committed to return to Ukraine

      A member of an anti-Kiev militia was hospitalised in Rostov after sustaining severe injuries while fighting against the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk Region.

      The militiaman, called Sergey, lost his left arm while fighting with his unit and was initially admitted to a hospital in Ukraine. However, his injuries were such that he had to be transported to Russia for specialist treatment.

      Despite his injury he wants to return to Ukraine and continue the fight because his family was left in Ukraine.
