Russia: "Kiev troops allowed to cross Ukraine-Russia border because of Russian willingness" - OSCE mission chef

During a press conference on the work of OSCE observers at the Ukraine-Russia border in the region of Rostov on Thursday, Head of the OSCE mission Paul Picard underlined the importance of Russian "willingness" and cooperation in facilitating the crossing of Ukrainian soldiers into Russian territory.

Picard also pointed out to the extent of communications between the OSCE and Russia, before adding the the organisations presence in the region also helped to facilitate the process.

The OSCE missions mandate will run for three months, with an extension requiring a further ruling by the OSCE Permanent Council of 57 participating member states.
