UK: Activists occupying Israeli arms factory 'not going anywhere'
A group of twelve pro-Palestine protesters continued to occupy an arms factory owned by an Israeli military company in Staffordshire on Wednesday morning.
The activists, who had been protesting since 5 am Tuesday, had chained shut the doors of the building and attached a rope from one of the banner to the neck of an activist. They warned that if the banner is taken down it may seriously injure the activist. The protestors say that they have enough food reserves to last for weeks and said that " we are not going anywhere".
The factory operates under a UK registered company that is owned by Elbit Systems, simultaneously the largest global manufacturer of drones and Israel's largest weapons company.
