Over 100 men in the villages surrounding Odessa have recently received new draft notices to join the Ukrainian military, inspiring women in at least four regions of Ukraine to protest.
Slava, a local wife and mother explained that the women are fearful that the military does not have the money or equipment to protect the men. She added it is better politicians and oligarchs send their own children to war to set an example.
