Denmark: Europe's biggest gun store attracts gun-nuts on opener
Europe’s biggest arms shop opened its doors to customers on Thursday in the Danish city of Hedensted, on the central Jutland Peninsula. The store "Ostysk Vabenhandel" is around 5,000-square metres in size.
Customers eagerly waited outside the new premises of the gun shop, with some standing in line for 19 hours. Once inside, attendees tried out a range of weapons, outdoor clothing and hunting material. Customers finished the day by drinking beer and eating hot dogs.
The store includes a hunting expedition company and a taxidermist as well. To secure the ammunition from theft, the store was built with heavy security features.
