
Russia: Sanctions create a "difficult situation for Russian companies" - CEO of Association of European Businesses
Frank Schauff, CEO of the Association of European Businesses, commented on new sanctions imposed on Russia by the EU in Moscow on Wednesday, saying they would cause difficulties for Russian companies trying to acquire foreign currency. He was referring to a new package of sanctions passed by the EU on July 29 which will target Russia's military, oil and finance sectors.
The Association of European Businesses represents and promotes the interests of European companies conducting business in and with the Russian Federation. It carries out activities to improve the Russian business and trade environment and to promote economic partnerships between the Russian Federation and the European Union.
