
Ukraine: Fighting forces Dutch police to cancel MH17 crash site visit
A delegation of the Dutch military police that arrived at the Park Inn hotel in Donetsk Sunday morning were forced to cancel their trip to the site of the crashed MH17 plane. The specialists from the Netherlands were planning to go to the MH17 crash site, along with their Australian and OSCE counterparts, but had to postpone their visit over reports that fighting between pro- and anti-Kiev forces had intensified in the area.
A total of 298 people died on July 17, when the Malaysian Airlines MH17 flight crashed in eastern Ukraine. On board were 193 Dutch nationals.
