Russia: Shelling hits village near Ukrainian border
Traces of artillery shells were strewn across the suburbs of Russian village Primiusskiy, near the border with Ukraine, on Friday.
The shells had landed at around 1.50pm local time (9.50am GMT), reportedly fired from Ukrainian territory. Self-defence militia members manning the nearby Kuybishevo checkpoint were evacuated following the incident. No deaths or injuries have been reported.
The attack came as firefights continue to occur between pro- and anti-Kiev forces near the Marinovka checkpoint in eastern Ukraine.
