France: Crisis unit set up for crashed Air Algerie plane
Rescue workers, police and airport staff awaited the relatives of the passengers of the Air Algerie missing plane at a crisis center installed at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport on Thursday.
Two people were assisted by the unit set up at the airport’s terminal 2A.
Authorities had lost contact with a flight operated by Air Algerie with at least 116 people on board on Thursday early morning. Later reports have indicated that the flight bound to Algiers and departing from Burkina Faso has likely crashed in a remote area of Mali.
