
Ukraine: Dutch forensics arrive at MH17 crash site
Dutch forensic investigators were the first international experts to examine the remains of the downed Malaysia Airlines plane in eastern Ukraine, Monday.
Three members of the Dutch Disaster Victim Identification team and representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe visited the site in an attempt to find the causes of the accident.
The arrival of the Dutch investigators came as the United Nations Security Council was preparing to vote on a resolution that would demand international access to site.
Ukrainian forensic experts have also visited the area and a team of 12 inspectors from Malaysia are expected to arrive later Monday.
