
Germany: Military parade commemorates plot to kill Hitler
Members of the German military marched past German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen, as part of a ceremony that commemorated WWII General Claus von Stauffenberg in Berlin on Sunday.
Stauffenberg was arrested for his unsuccessful attempt to assassinate dictator Adolf Hitler as part of a plan dubbed 'Operation Valkyrie', and was later executed along with his co-conspirators.
