
Ukraine: Ukrainian forces were not involved in MH17 crash- military official
The head of the informational centre of the Anti-Terror operation in Ukraine, Andrey Lisenko, held a press-conference in Kiev on Friday. Lisenko gave a briefing on crashed Malaysian Airliner MH17, presumed to have been shot down by ground to air missiles yesterday; killing all 298 people on board.
Lisenko stated that Ukrainian forces could not have been involved in the incident as the Boeing 777 was beyond the range of Ukrainian ground forces and the Air Force was not deployed over Ukrainian airspace.
