State of Palestine: Scores killed in Israeli strike on Gaza family home
Family members of Gaza police chief Tayseer Al-Batsh were recovering in a Gaza hospital, Monday, following an Israeli air strike on their home the night before.
The strike took place after the residents had returned home following Ramadan evening prayers. In the course of the attack 18 people, three of them children, were killed. Forty-two people were wounded. Al-Batsh himself is reported to be in critical condition.
This is not the first time a civilian home has come under Israeli bombardment. According to the Health Ministry of Gaza, there are at least 11 cases of such incidents, which are classified as Family Massacres.
