
Cuba: Putin arrives for bilateral talks in Havana
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Havana, Friday for an official visit at the invitation of Cuban President Raul Castro.
Bilateral talks will take place during the visit, with a particular focus on trade, economic and investment ties, and the pursuit of joint projects in energy, transport, healthcare, civil aviation and peaceful use of outer space. Current international issues will also be discussed. The talks are expected to conclude with the signing of bilateral agreements in a range of areas.
Putin will also meet with the leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro.
