India: Valet crashes Lamborghini outside luxury hotel
A valet for the five-star Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi crashed a guest's 200mph (321 kmph) supercar on Thursday.
The valet Arun Kumar pulled the Lamborghini Gallardo up to the hotel entrance, then promptly drove it straight into a concrete wall, hitting another car along the way. The car's owner, Nipun Miglani, is claiming damages up to 2 crore rupees (€244,319).
Cars from Europe are expensive in India because their price is highly inflated by import duties. Arun Kumar was treated in hospital for minor injuries, he has refused to accept responsibility for the accident.
