France: Zionists disrupt pro-Palestinian rally in Paris
Around 300 people gathered on Place Saint Michel in Paris on Wednesday in order to protest against Israeli bombing operations in Gaza and violence perpetrated in the occupied territories.
A dozen militants from the Jewish Defense League turned up for a counter-protest, provoking the pro-Palestinian protesters. The JDL is a Zionist organisation set up in 1968 and has been implicated in numerous aggressive confrontations with Arabs in France.
Police forces intervened to separate the two groups. Nobody was wounded or arrested.
