Germany: Rendering programme could nab Snowden - ex-NSA employee
Former NSA employee William Binney arrived in Berlin to give a statement about the NSA at the German Parliamentary Inquiry Committee, Thursday.
After Binney had given his statement to the committee members, he took part in a discussion about surveillance, organised by the Green Party at the Heinrich-Boell foundation. During the discussion he reiterated his earlier statement that Edward Snowden should not "leave and go anywhere" as the "rendering program could easily get him." Binney also said that fear mongering is the "next effort to get more money from Congress and the people."
