Russia: EMERCOM opens field hospital for Ukraine victims
The Russian emergency response agency EMERCOM relocated a mobile field hospital from its base in the city of Sochi to the camp set up for fleeing Ukrainians in the town of Donetsk in the Rostov region on Wednesday.
EMERCOM says the personnel of the hospital will be able to provide medical aid for more complex conditions, including gunshot and explosive trauma and even oral and maxillo-facial surgery. The hospital will be able to provide medical services for up to 100 people every 24 hours.
The refugee camp is currently accommodating 430 people from the Lugansk and Slavyansk districts of Ukraine, and has a maximum capacity of 500.
