The German, French and Russian foreign ministers met for dinner at Regent Berlin, Wednesday, after attending talks on the Ukraine crisis.

The discussions between Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Laurent Fabius, Pavlo Klimkin and Sergei Lavrov are hoped to have brought Russia and Ukraine closer to declaring a ceasefire.

Lavrov and Klimkin have agreed to hold three-way talks between them and anti-Kiev activists in a bid to bring about a ceasefire for eastern Ukraine.
