German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier invited the foreign ministers of Ukraine, France and Russia to a round of talks on the Ukraine crisis at the Berlin Foreign Ministry, Wednesday.

The conference was arranged on short notice, as a ceasefire in Ukraine's east was ended by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at the beginning of the week. On arrival the foreign ministers briefly posed for the press, but swiftly departed again to start talks. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Pavlo Klimkin, Laurent Fabius and Sergei Lavrov are attending the meeting.
