Estonia: Locals donate supplies for suffering Ukrainians
Volunteers set up a collection point for humantarian aid for Ukrainian civilians in Tallinn on Thursday. The initiative sprang from the assistance of volunteer movements by the Union of Foreigners of Estonia and the Baltia Novorossia organisation.
Volunteers, who have been collecting the aid of food, clothes and toiletries for people in south-east Ukraine affected by military action, say they are pleased with the turnout of contributions from people in Estonia.
The aid will be sorted into boxes before being sent to a second collection point in Latvia, where it will then be dispatched directly to Ukraine.
