Uruguayan footballer Luis Suarez appeared in public for the first time on Thursday since he bit another player during a World Cup match. Suarez left his hotel in the Brazilian city of Natal along with his teammates, bound for pre-game training ahead of Saturday's matchup with Colombia.

Suarez has been banned from playing football for four months by governing body FIFA, including his nation's next nine international matches. The striker is banned from entering a stadium during this period, and fined.

The ban results from a confrontation with Italian player Giorgio Chiellini, when the Uruguayan forward appeared to bite the defender on the shoulder.
