
Brazil: Investigations into Suarez biting incident ongoing - FIFA
Speaking at a press conference in Rio's Maracana Stadium on Wednesday, FIFA Media Relations Manager Delia Fischer said investigations by football's governing body are ongoing after Uruguayan star striker Luis Suárez allegedly bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the Uruguay-Italy World Cup clash on Tuesday.
Urugayan parties were given until 5 p.m. local time on June 25 to submit any evidence relevant to the case. Such documentation includes declarations from referees and witnesses, material evidence, audio and video recordings as well as documentation provided by Luis Suaraz himself.
