
UAE: David Haye leads world record attempt for biggest boxing class
Former WBA heavyweight champion, David Haye, held a world record attempt in Dubai on Saturday, for the World's Largest Boxing Class. Hundreds of participants showed up to have a technique class with Haye, and at the same time try and beat the world record of 498 people taking a lesson at one time.
The world record attempt was organised by Dubai Sports World, which also utilised the event to raise money for the Rashid Centre for Disabled in Dubai. Each participant was asked to donate a minimum of 30 dirhams (6 Euros).
Haye mentioned at the event he will start competing again, and hopes to have some fights in Dubai. The first fight is scheduled to be held in December, 2014.
