      President Obama addressed press on the current situation in Iraq and the Middle East at James S. Brady Press Briefing Room, Washington on Thursday afternoon.

      Speaking on a potential US intervention in Iraq, President Obama ruled out the idea of American forces returning to combat, but stated that 300 US military advisors and additional military assets would be stationed in the country.
