UK: David Cameron – “It’s important I don’t pick Iraq’s leaders”
United Kingdom's Prime Minister David Cameron said that future Iraq's leaders must run the country "on a non-sectarian basis" during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen in London on Thursday.
Although ISIL's expansion on Iraq dominated the joint press conference, Cameron and Rasmussen also set up the guidelines for the upcoming Wales NATO summit in September, labelling it as "the most important in NATO's history".
The implications of the Ukraine crisis was on top of the agenda for the summit, with Rasmussen stating that the "new Russian military build-up along the Ukrainian border is a matter of grave concern".
