Ukraine: Donetsk miners rally against military operations
Hundreds of miners rallied near the Leninsky Prospekt in Donetsk Wednesday, protesting against military operations carried out by Kiev authorities throughout the country.
Participants stemming from various mines in the region, including the Abakumov, Kalinin, Skochinsky and Trudovskaya mines, chanted: "Donetsk Republic!", "Russia!", Donbass is us!", ”Fascism won't pass”, and “No to war!”
A colonel and a miner, Yury Kovalchuk, said that the war needs to end and fascism should be forbidden.
Gennady Kovalchuk, another miner taking part in the protest, said that he will take off his working uniform, take up arms, and defend his homeland.
