      Thousands of sofas filled Berlin's An Der Altern Foersterei FC (Union Berlin) stadium where supporters watched Germany's World Cup match against Portugal on Monday.

      The fans had been given a slot and the chance to bring their own sofas to the stadium days before the event. The stalls (are they called that?) were filled with normal seating crammed with fans going wild as Germany continued to score goals in what was seen as a challenging match.
