
Spain: Police raid suspected ISIS terror cell in Madrid
Spanish Police arrested eight men who are suspected to have links to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) during a raid in Madrid on Monday, June 16.
According to the Spanish Interior Ministry, police targeted a cell of suspected ISIS members who were reportedly recruiting members for the Islamic organisation. Among the suspects arrested was a former detainee of Guantanamo who was captured in 2001 in Afghanistan and released in 2005.
