      Fans from all over the world gathered outside Sao Paulo's Corinthians Arena on Wednesday where preparations were drawing to a close ahead of the first match of this year's World Cup, scheduled for Thursday.

      Brazil will take on Croatia in an opening game which the Latin American team are widely tipped to dominate.
