Brazil: German stars confident ahead of World Cup kick off
Philip Lahm and Andre Schurrle were optimistic about the upcoming match against Portugal during a press conference on behalf of the German FIFA World Cup team in Santo Andre on Tuesday, despite the loss of one of their star players.
The German team arrived in Santo Andre village in Sao Paulo, where their specially built base is located on June 8.
While the players said they are fit for the start of the competition, Lahm didn't want to disclose the tactical position he is hedged to play in this World Cup, following the loss of attacking midfielder Marco Reus, due to an ankle injury.
