      Political member of the German opposition party "Die Linke", Sahra Wagenknecht followed up Chancellor Angela Merkel's government declaration on Wednesday, June 4 in the Bundestag with harsh criticism of the engagement with Ukraine.

      Wagenknecht argued that the German government was undermining its own rhetoric of freedom and democracy by supporting the Kiev government, which she said contained far-right elements and was corrupt.
