
Kazakhstan: New ISS crew in blast off from Baikonur
The Expedition 40/41 Flight took off in a Soyuz spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Wednesday. The team is made up of NASA engineer Reid Wiseman, Soyuz commander Max Suraev of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and Flight Engineer Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency.
The three will remain aboard the station until mid-November. The previous expedition will return to earth in mid-September, leaving Suraev in charge.
