Ukraine: OSCE mission praise presidential election
European parliamentarians reported from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) mission to observe the May 25 Ukrainian presidential elections, during a press conference in Kiev on Monday.
Göran Färm, a Swedish MP and member of the OSCE delegation, said the "high" turnout, showed "the clear determination of Ukrainian people to decide their own future."
Head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mykhailo Okhendovsky has said voter turnout in the election was over 60 percent.
German MP Karl Lamers, meanwhile, said the election was a "success all Ukrainians should be proud of."
