
Ukraine: Poroshenko wins presidential election - exit polls

Ukrainian "Chocolate King" Petro Poroshenko won the first round of the country's presidential elections with 55.9% of the vote on Sunday, representatives of the National Exit Poll 2014 announced. His closest rival, Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the all-Ukrainian union Fatherland (Batkivshchyna) party, received 12.9% of the vote followed by Oleh Lyashko who received 8%.
