The 2014 Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition kicked off in Moscow's All-Russia Exhibition Centre Tuesday, showcasing the latest security technologies from roughly 500 exhibitors from over 20 different countries. The exhibition runs until Friday, with organisers expecting as many as 2,000 delegates to attend.
The focus of the conference is to promote greater co-operation between emergency services, security officials and businesses. Another goal is to introduce more Russian-made products into domestic and international markets.
Delegates from around 50 countries will be in attendance along with many ministers, governors and officials from across Russia. Representatives from the country's Interior and Emergency Ministries, along with the Federal Service for Military-Technical Co-operation, will also be present.
