      UK: New WFP ambassador Mourinho says "football is not selfish"

      Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the World Food Programme (WFP) Amir Abdulla announced Chelsea Football Club manager Jose Mourinho as Ambassador Against Hunger in London on Monday.

      Mourinho talked about the importance of giving his name to the cause, stating that he would go to hunger-stricken countries if that would draw the necessary attention to them.

      Commenting on the financial disparity between these countries and the world of football, Mourinho said that football "is not selfish" and is usually connected to humanitarian causes.
