Ukraine: Evacuation following bomb report at Kiev airport
Passengers and employees of Terminals B and D at Borisov airport in Kiev were evacuated on Thursday after an unknown person had called one of the air companies and reported about a bomb planted at the airport.
Passenger left the terminals and came out right on the airfield getting into shuttle buses that took them to a safe place while Ukrainian police bomb detection and disposal squad was examining the place.
According to the airport officials, boarding on flights was extended and all the passengers got onboard their planes after all the bomb detection procedures had been finished and safety guarantied.
Now passengers are admitted to both terminals and Borispol airport operates as normal.
