Germany: Eurovision fans go wet n' wild in Hamburg

The NDR Eurovision Party took place at Spielbudenplatz in Hamburg's St. Pauli district on Saturday night, despite the heavy rain.

The Countdown show started with the German singer Jan Delay firing up the crowd for the Eurovision Song Contest.

This year's crowd favourite was the Austrian contestant Conchita Wurst who went on to win the song contest. German flags were discarded in Hamburg as Germany's entry only managed 18th place.
