      Germany: Beer-soaked Bayern Munich celebrate Bundesliga triumph

      Around 15,000 fans went wild as FC Bayern Munich paraded the German Bundesliga trophy through the city of Munich, Saturday.

      The footballers were driven in a specially designed vehicle from the Bavarian city's Schwabing to Marienplatz, in Munich’s city centre, where they celebrated with their delirious fans. Bayern Munich showed off their trophy and poured wheat beer over each other’s heads in celebration.

      In his speech, manager Pep Guardiola uttered the famous local phrase, “I am from Munich, we are who we are.”
