Denmark: Police and anti-fascists clash hours before Eurovision final
Police clashed with anti-fascist protesters after a group of National Front supporters held an anti-mosque protest at Christiansborg Slotsplads in central Copenhagen, Saturday.
Around 50 National Front members tried to play live music but were drowned out by a 300 strong counter demonstration, including members of AntiFa and Racismefri By. The event marks the first time a far-right demonstration has been authorised at Christiansborg Slotsplads since WWII.
City police numbers have been bolstered by the thousands in the run-up to the Eurovision Song Contest final, to be held in the Danish capital on Saturday.
