Workers from Rio de Janeiro’s private security sector took to the streets to demand a wage hike on Friday.
Just over 300 workers marched on Avenida Rio Branco, adding to the congestion in the city centre. The day before traffic had to shut down on many of the city's main avenues, due to a bus drivers protest.
The private security workers are demanding a salary increase due to new challenges posed by this summer's World Cup.
