      Belarus: Czech hockey team arrive in Minsk for World Championship

      Players from the Czech Republic's national ice hockey team arrived at Minsk International Airport on Wednesday, two days ahead of the start of the Ice Hockey World Championship 2014.

      Captain of the team Jaromir Jagr said that he decided to play in this championship to stay in shape, because his NHL team, the New Jersey Devils, didn't make the play-offs this year.

      The first game facing the Czech hockey team will be on May 9, against neighbouring Slovakia.

      Belarus: Czech hockey team arrive in Minsk for World Championship
