An impressive array of military aircraft flew over Moscow's iconic Red Square on Saturday as part of the the first aerial rehearsal for the upcoming Victory Day parade.
AN-124 military transport aircraft, Mi-8 military transport helicopters and Su-24 and Su-34 attack planes swept through the skies at a height of around 656 foot (200 metres).
The Victory Day parade, which marks the surrender of Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union during the end of WWII, takes place annually on May 9. This year's celebrations are especially significant as it is the 70th anniversary.
